Roof Maintenance

A perfect time to establish a maintenance plan is after a new roof has been installed, repaired, cleaned and/or treated for moss.   A long term maintenance plan will extend the life of your roof and save you money.  Here are some steps to consider:

Roof Cleaning – In the fall, and especially in the Pacific Northwest our roofs and gutters are covered with leaves, pine needles & debris.  Our recommendation is to clean your roof and gutters at least annually and after major storm events.

Moss Prevention – We live in a moist wet region and it’s great for growing moss on our roofs and lawns!  Untreated moss can cause damage to our roofs over a period of time.  An annual moss prevention treatment is an inexpensive and important treatment to extend the life of your roof. There are eco-friendly moss prevention solutions available too.

Roof Inspection – Another way to extend the life of your roof is to inspect it occasionally.  Roof inspections often find minor issues before they become major repairs.  Simple roof repairs, such as shingle replacement can extend your roofs life and save your money down the road.

Some roofs are just tall and some people are afraid of heights, we understand that.  If that is you, Contact us and we’ll establish an effective roof maintenance plan for you!
